Workshop on IoT with Arduino
The Department of ECE organized a one-day workshop on IoT with Arduino on 23rd May 2024, with Mr. Vignesh, Senior Developer at Pantech eLearning, as the resource person. The workshop kicked off with an engaging introduction to IoT and its software, followed by an in-depth exploration of IoT using Arduino. Participants gained a strong understanding of IoT fundamentals, from basic applications to advanced concepts such as Embedded C, through hands-on exercises.
The session then focused on data collection and visualization, where attendees practiced Arduino programming, working with sensors, LEDs, and buzzers. In the afternoon, the workshop delved into Home Security Systems, covering supervised and unsupervised learning, classification, and regression. Practical demonstrations showcased the use of sensors in real-world applications.
The highlight of the workshop was the Home Security System project, where participants applied classification algorithms and data preprocessing techniques. This project offered a practical application of IoT concepts, including data writing and transmission to the cloud.workshop’s highlight
