The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized a technical talk on “CST Design and Simulation in the Industrial Sector” on April 8th 2025. The speaker,
Mr. Bibek Boxi, an Application Engineer from Jyoti Electronics, highlighted the importance of CST (Computer Simulation Technology) design for ECE students and its relevance in the top-level industries.
CST design and simulation involve using advanced software tools to model, analyze, and optimize products and systems before creating physical prototypes. This process, which includes electromagnetic, thermal, and mechanical simulations, helps industries improve design efficiency, reduce development costs, and accelerate time-to-market. It is widely used in sectors such as Automotive, Aerospace, Electronics, and Manufacturing to enhance product quality and minimize risks.
The talk also provided students with opportunities to connect with potential employers, enhance their skills, and improve their employment prospects. Mr. Boxi emphasized the importance of these skills in securing placements and achieving competitive salary packages. Approximately 30 students from the 6th semester attended the session.
