ACHIEVEMENTS

We are proud to announce that a team of 6th semester students from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering – P S Lochan, Pavithra B, Roshni V P, and Shivam Punekar secured First Place at the IISc × Qiskit Quantum Hackathon.

At the IISc × Qiskit Quantum Hackathon, the team’s project focused on applying quantum computing principles using the Qiskit framework to address a real-world problem. Their work emphasised the design and implementation of quantum algorithms, translating theoretical concepts into practical solutions, and demonstrating how emerging quantum technologies can offer advantages over classical approaches.
