Expert Lecture on Cybersecurity Industry Challenges
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organised an expert lecture on “Cybersecurity Industry Challenges” on 4 May 2026, delivered by Dr Vishal Saraswat, Head of Research and Innovation at Bosch. The session provided valuable insights into emerging cyber threats, industry security challenges, data protection, and cybersecurity concerns in IoT and embedded systems.
Dr Saraswat also highlighted career opportunities in cybersecurity, including roles such as cybersecurity analyst, network security engineer, and ethical hacker. The lecture was attended by 112 sixth-semester ECE students and three faculty members, who actively participated in the discussion. The session proved highly informative, enhancing students’ understanding of real-world cybersecurity challenges and industry expectations.
