Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering conducted an online Guest lecture on “Innovations in AI and ML “on December 14th2020. The speaker, Mr. Manas Dasgupta, is head of wealth Technology, Australia New Zealand Bank. He brought in real world examples to explain the fact that AI and ML is slowly embedded in almost aspect of our life. He explained about the different machine learning algorithms put in use today. Also focused on the pros and cons of every algorithm. Around 38 students attended the session
