A workshop on UNIVERSAL VERIFICATION METHODOLOGY was organized on 24/04/2023 which provided hands-on experience in designing a 16-bit ALU using Verilog, participants honed their skills in hardware description languages and gained a profound understanding of the intricacies involved in creating complex digital circuits. The project implementation phase challenged students to optimize the ALU for speed while minimizing resource utilization, fostering a deep appreciation for the delicate balance between performance and efficiency in VLSI design.

“WORKSHOP ON MOKU GO” was conducted on April 6th, 2023, and Mr. Mahaveer Savanur and his colleague Mr Sridhar were invited as the guest speakers to hold the workshop. The workshop was for the students as well as the faculty members who were interested to learn more about the product “MOKU GO” launched by “Spruha Build-in Solutions”. This product by Spruha Build-in Solutions in collaboration with “Liquid INSTRUMENTS” and “TESSOLVE” has the capability of being operated as a portable CRO which can be digitally accessed anywhere and has the built in option to test and simulate the results on cloud based storage system.

A REPORT ON ADVANCED EMBEDDED FIRMWARE AND IOT WORKSHOP

The global program for 6th-semester students was an immersive and enriching initiative aimed at providing hands-on expertise in the integration of sensors with the ESP32 microcontroller. Commencing with a detailed exploration of the ESP32’s capabilities and communication protocols, the workshop seamlessly progressed to practical sessions where students connected an array of sensors, including temperature and motion sensors, to the ESP32.
