SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS

Workshop on Business Model Canvas (BMC) and Business Fit

The NHCE Innovation and Incubation Council (IIC), in association with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, organized a two-day Workshop on Business Model Canvas (BMC) and Business Fit on 29 April 2026. The workshop introduced students to the Business Model Canvas as a strategic framework for developing and evaluating business ideas. Participants learned the nine key components of a business model through interactive discussions, case studies, and real-world examples. The sessions highlighted how organizations create, deliver, and capture value through effective business planning. Students gained insights into customer segments, value propositions, revenue streams, key resources, and strategic partnerships.

The workshop also emphasized the importance of identifying market needs and designing sustainable business solutions. On the second day, students applied the BMC framework to develop innovative business ideas in teams. Participants presented their business models and received constructive feedback from mentors and peers. The programme enhanced students’ analytical thinking, creativity, teamwork, and communication skills. Overall, the workshop provided valuable hands-on exposure to entrepreneurship and helped students translate theoretical concepts into practical business applications.
